Fun Activities for Kids these Summer Holidays

So the long summer holidays have begun and you are already counting down until schools starts again? Don’t worry, we hear you. Why not try something different these holidays, and make some lasting memories having fun with the little guys?

Fun ActivitiesGo to the theme parks. Or adventure parks, or water parks, or the zoo, or whatever fun places are in your area. A yearly pass is a great deal when you go more than a few times, and its a great way for the kids to have a ball and run out a bunch of energy.

Don’t forget the museums. Most have kid areas that have fun activities in the summertime, and the bonus is that junior is actually learning something at the same time.

Plan lots of play dates. These, as I’m sure you already know, are the best way to get some grownup time for free. Just remember you have to return the favour, so that means double the munchkins running around your yard.

Start classes. Swimming classes, horseback riding classes, piano lessons, or karate are fun ways to get them out and around other kids and off the video games.

Go camping. This is a classic summer activity, but its a cheap way to get away from everything and get them outside and and exploring.

Teach them something you used to love as a kid. Whether its surfing, or frog catching, or tree climbing, they will probably love it too, and love spending the time with you and learning something new about you.

Most of all, its important to make sure you still get some time for yourself, so don’t be afraid to enlist babysitters or grandparents to give yourself a break.

From all of us here at Phone Sound, we want to wish you a very happy holiday season and hope you get to enjoy some much deserved downtime. We hope that the new year brings more connections with great clients who need quality on hold messages and on hold music.
